This thread contains all the information you need to apply for the Alchemist Studios Staff Team. Please read through the entire post carefully before applying.


Staff Applications
If you are reading this you are on the path to be a staff memberâ„¢. Congratulations! We're always thrilled to see someone interested in helping Alchemist Studios, by keeping the chat clean and in general ensuring that the rules are enforced, you are at the right place.

Helpers are dedicated players who are passionate about helping others and ensuring a positive community experience. Your primary responsibilities will include answering questions, offering support, and creating a welcoming environment for all players. Please note that Helpers are not responsible for moderation tasks.

If you genuinely wish to contribute to our community, we invite you to read all the provided information below. Understanding our expectations will greatly impress us!

In order to apply, all applicants must meet specific requirements. Those are listed below
  1. You must be over the age of 15.
  2. Your playtime on the Minecraft server should be 12 hours or longer.
  3. Previous staff experience is desirable.
  4. Having more than 3 punishments within the last month will result in an instant denial.
  5. A working microphone is required.
  6. A forums account is mandatory.
  7. You should not currently hold a volunteer staff position elsewhere.

If you meet the requirements mentioned above, feel free to apply for the Helper position. Our application team also expects you to adhere to certain guidelines while completing your application. Please take note of the following:
  • Your application should demonstrate that you possess the necessary skillset for the Helper role within the Alchemist Studios Network. When discussing your experience, explain why it is relevant to the position and how it will enable you to excel as a Helper. Remember that we can only evaluate you based on the information provided in your application. Whenever you make statements about yourself or your previous roles, ensure you provide explanations and examples to support your claims.
  • Plagiarism will not be tolerated. We employ various methods to detect stolen answers.
  • Proper grammar and spelling are crucial for a successful application.


Frequently Asked Questions

Is helper a paid position?
Nope. Helpers and moderators are volunteers, meaning they are not paid.​
Can I apply for the moderator rank instead of the helper rank?
No, applications are not accepted specifically for the Moderator role. Moderators are chosen from the pool of Helpers.​
How long will it take to get a response?
We strive to process applications as quickly as possible. Requesting staff members to review your application will lead to a denial.​
Can I re-submit the same application after getting denied?
We kindly request that you wait at least 30 days before submitting a new application. This time allows for self-evaluation and the opportunity to submit an improved application. However, if you choose to submit the same application again, it is highly likely that you will be denied.​
I have been punished on the discord/forums/server before, can I still apply?
Your infractions on all platforms will be considered during the application review process. However, having previous punishments does not automatically result in denial. If a significant amount of time has passed since your punishment and you have demonstrated improvement in your behavior, it will be taken into account.​
Why do I have to be at least over the age of 15 to apply?
According to legal regulations, we cannot store personal information of individuals below a certain age. Moreover, providing assistance to players requires a certain level of maturity and experience that younger players may not possess. Additionally, younger individuals may encounter challenging situations that could be difficult to handle.​
Why can't I be staff on another server as well?
Being a staff member, whether as a Helper, Moderator, Admin, or Owner, on another server can hinder your full immersion in our community. One role is likely to take precedence over the other, and we do not want to be the reason your responsibilities on another server are neglected. Therefore, it is necessary to resign from all active staff positions on other servers before applying.​

To apply, create a new thread in this category with the title "STAFF APPLICATION - YOUR IGN." Copy the questions provided below, paste them into your thread, and answer them in the same post. To ensure clarity, please bold the questions and provide your answers in normal text.
